ROAD NOTICE : Hwy 56 has a sign at ESSO gas station saying, "Road Closed"
but Local Traffic is Allowed, from this North-end of Hwy 56.
Hwy 56 SOUTH-end near Concession 2 (south of golf course) is NOW blocked until mid-Sept.
Hwy 56 NORTH-end near ESSO gas station will be blocked AFTER mid-Sept and Detour required.
Next update Sept 1.

Empire isn't wet at all... we got the rain Tuesday but drain well!
Empire may be flat but it's the BEST place for a golf course!!!
2 creeks on each end to carry water away, lots of ponds for
storage. The frogs, turtles & heron's like it too!
Yup, just checked and other courses are CLOSED or No Carts.
Well, I guess once in awhile Empire gets the win! 😁

Sold a shot of Bacardi Rum & Coke today... haven't sold ANY Rum in over 2 years!!!

Rum & Vodka... just sitting on the self & ageing for YEARS!
Whiskey & Rye bottles get replaced once or twice a year.
Sealed the Rum up tight... smell you again in another 2 years! 🥂

Bought Scotch & Jamaican Rum 10 years ago... never sold a SINGLE shot!!!
The Rum was WAY too spicy and probably dumped it... gave the Scotch away to a golfer who I though was Scottish but he was actually English... I just couldn't understand his accent and assumed he was Scottish... anyways he got a free bottle out of it! 😁
Talking to my golfers and a number of them from Binbrook had their basements flooded! 😔 That really sucks!!! Just rain-water though, no sewer backups at least!
That really was a "once in a 100 year storm" that seems to come every 5 years now! 😕
